This iteration of 3 MORE SOUNDS features, once again, piano virtuoso Robert Turner, along with giants Franklin and Burnett. The super trio's interpretations of songs popularized by the legendary New Orleans' native Antoine "Fats" Domino who, by the way, was the most popular exponent of the classic NOLA R&B sound, swing with unbridled soul and enthusiasm.
Fans of the New Orleans sound and tradition will immediately recognize these classic tunes, from "I'm Walkin'" to "Ain't That A Shame," all of which connect to Fats and his rollicking piano and joyous vocals.
Thanks to 3 MORE SOUNDS, the legend of the "Fat Man" lives on! Who knows, perhaps these master musicians will honor and pay tribute to another legendary "Fats," namely Thomas "Fats" Waller.
